20100217-levine.jpgAdd another one to your guest list, kids: Samm Levine, formerly of the cult television hit Freaks and Geeks and Quentin Tarantino’s latest epic Inglourious Basterds, will appear as a guest in one episode of Lost.

And, as he revealed to TV Guide Magazine, he got his role because of his friendship with series co-creator Damon Lindelof. “I’ve been friends with [him] for ten years,” he said. “Six years ago when he started the show I sat in his living room and watched the screener of the pilot months before it aired, and I went, ‘Oh my God, this is the greatest show ever! When are you going to get me on this show?’ For six years he’s been going, ‘I’m going to write you something on the show.’”
