Playing a one-time billionaire on the small screen might be a real treat for Ted Danson, as he continues portraying his role on the FX series Damages.  It was an exciting turn of events for him, accepting the job immediately upon learning Glenn Close was his co-star.  Now that the series is on its second season, the renowned actor recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to discuss his role and career.

Even though he’s busy with his numerous television appearances, Ted Danson was still best known for his portrayal of the lead character Sam Malone on the hit sitcom Cheers.  She talked to the host about his previous stint on her show, with Ellen DeGeneres stating that it’s been two years since he was last featured on Ellen.
